Anyone had or heard a GREDDY SPECTRUM ELITE exhaust, or ordered from AMS

Featured Replies

AMS had started to get fairly big state side, on the face of it are a great company, their own branded products have suffered with quality and the after sales has been poor.

I was in discussion with them to come on here and distribute their wears, as although not the best it's better than a lot of what we've got available. It just suddenly went cold sadly.

As above. They're not well received on 3ZC, but that's mainly for other reasons, however there have been a number of instances with regard the fitting of any of their pipework products from intakes to exhausts. We didn't renew their sponsorship when it had expired. I personally have had no problems with them or even any dealings with them (other than getting very drunk with the owner at Znationals a few years ago), but speaking from a point of view of 3ZC and its members, I would think again about ordering either their exhausts or intake kits.

But what about the exhaust itself? any experience of that?

I'm not all that comfortable with buying from overseas at the best of times, but if the system is worth the gamble then I may be tempted.

Sorry, I was getting muddled up with their own system. The greddy system is good quality, but never seen one. I'd try and order that through Z1. Whilst it's not listed on their website, they should be able to get it for you. I personally know the guys at Z1, I have confidence with them. Speak to Jon Parham, he'll help you.

As an alternative, Labree do a single output can rather than a dual. Labree systems are very popular in the US and have a good name.

It'd have to be a dual exit, single wouldn't look right on my bumper. I'll give Z1 a shout, see what they say.

Is that the labree? I checked z1, they only had dual tips, and that looked expensive, and that was before shipping...
