just had look on drivers side there are 2 pipes next to each other on the end of the balance bar will any of them do

Pretty much but if you follow them back , one of them will connect to a little black box on the inner wing near the fuse box. That's the boost sensor for the oem gauge.

ok thanks for that guys. the 4mm one is rite next to the 8mm one . one more things when fitting the boost jets do you need to remove the oem jets and if so are thay in the same place were the new ones are getting fitted ?

Boost jets?! That's soooooo 1995 :wack:

The pressure reference lines to the actuators run from underneath the intercooler pipes either side of the radiator (before the throttle bodies).

thanks there just temp till i can buy a ebc

Indeed! Not only because I make the best ones available, but because they do the job perfectly well. Jaffa has one and the boost response with the GT3071s was a flat line at 1.5 bar from 4800rpm to the redline.

The only EBC I would have over an MBC would be the new Geddy PRofec. By far the best piece of kit I've ever worked with. Unbelievably accurate control to a repeatable 0.1 psi.

I have boost jets installed, what should I be replacing them with if they are "so last year darling" ??

Nothing if you're happy with them and don't require any boost control. I mapped a car with 14psi boost jets that overboosted to 17psi every single time, so not even worth the £1 or whatever welding tips cost

In terms on mbc's I guess you would plumb it in like a single solenoid ebc?

Yes, pressure reference to the inlet, outlet to both actuators via a t-piece :)

Ive always had tips for boost increases and thought they were fine untill i fitted one of Noz,s Boost controlles and its another world in terms of how the boost is deliverd....These little gems keep your actuators completly shut untill a pre-set pressure is met then open at once which gives you boost just like a light switch,on or off. Tips slowly bleed the boost signal to your actuators in a kinda of delayed fashion and right from the start your gates are starting to creep open which is not good. Can not recomend these babys enough, great items....
