Sound like aim not just the only one !!!!, I've been waiting since may for the exhaust to be sent out to me by silver surfer , I've also been told his car is in the garage getting repairs done and that's the reason for the delay still not a happy chappie car still sat up on the ramps awaiting the exhaust

Hope this get sorted out postage of the parts or refund and I hope the site looks in to this as well very poor service but quick to take your money !!!!

So that we know the full extent of the issue, I'd be grateful if EVERYONE awaiting parts or a refund from Silver Surfer would please drop me or Groover a PM (or e-mail if not subbed; richardsmith@300zx.co.uk or groover@300zx.co.uk), letting us know what you are owed.

 

As said, I sincerely hope this is a misunderstanding - and as ever communication (or the lack of it) is often the key to these issues. And, as we always have to add, whilst it may be a private deal between individual members; the committee will help out in any way we can to prevent things like this happening in the future.

this is no misunderstanding I sent money (twice) he sent no goods! He said he would refund money , NO MONEY!! NO GOODs!! Thats not a missunderstanding thats robbery!!!

firstly i have only just seen the updates on this thread if the mods feel fit to ban me then thats down to them, i am not the sort of person to take anyones money and if i wer i think it would be for a shit load mor than £30! your money will be in the post tomorrow, first class recorded and signed for yes in fairness i should have posted the parts via recorded but i didnt, as for the first cheque not turning up, may i also add that i informed him after he contacted me saying about the parts not turning up and he cancelled the first cheque and sent another the first cheque had not been banked or cashed just so everyone dont think im a theif!!! the exhaust is pissing me off as well my car is stuck in a garage in swansea and ive been bugging the mechanic every other day to get it sorted so i can complete the transaction, i cant drive the car out as thats why its there so cant do much other than keep bugging him, i have refunded the postage you paid for the exhaust and also offered to refund the full price which you declined, yes you have been very patient and i apreciate that, but for the bull shit posts from some people on here trying to make out im a con artist or theif then you can go to hell!!!! im a genuine person and have dealt with alot of people on here and they have always been happy, its amazing how something goes wrong people jump on the band wagon and bring out the linching rope!!!

This is why it's best to use PayPal, I know they charge a percentage ect but at least if you don't receive your goods or are not happy you can get a refund through there

Its always helpfull before we can try help that the FULL facts are disclosed...i dont remember you making a mention of that in your posts bud..

As I said above, I hope this has all been a misunderstanding - with no need to bring out the lynching rope!! I'm sure people appreciate you have been busy with work etc; and sometimes our personal lives do take up more of our time than we anticipate, but with all these issues, communication is always the key; as some people seem to have waited a long time for your response.

 

I am sure you will sort the necessary refunds, despatches of goods etc; and I would ask if everyone involved could please keep me or Groover informed. If everyone gets their money back or the goods they originally purchased, then there is certainly no need for us to take banning action as ultimately there will have been no harm done.

but there is trying to explain and trying to defend, i have been honest and genuine the whole time being on this site as you know and to be blatently be called a theif and con artist and that ive been at it before gets on my tits, i answered the thread and since coming back on and clicking on latest posts i didnt see it had been updated, im not on line as much as i used to be for reasons i wont go into but when im on i try and sort any problems ive caused, and trying to make out ive had 2 cheques from him, i only ever recieved 1 and have said id give a refund and was waiting for a reply but just missed it, yes i understand he is annoyed as would i be but to call someone a theif is bang out of order and has really got my goat, i believe the mods on here are fair and right and i recieved a pm from one which i acted on as soon as i read it.

Hi Jody glad you posted and I know things do go wrong for seller and buyers but you cant blame the club mate we are just trying to sort out a transaction between members so its not the clubs fault it goes wrong. It just needs sorting out so we can move on. It is your choice to stay or go but rest assured I have confidence in you to do the right thing and hope you stay.

Not a problem Jody - it's human nature to defend mate. The important thing is, you are here now and are willing to put things right. As I have said many times before, we all have lives away from the forum (even us committee) and sometimes events take up more of our otherwise free time than we would like.

I don't want to jump on the band wagon guys, i have bought parts from jody quiet a few times granted it did take a week or so as he was working mad shifts but i did get my parts, hope this helps to restore faith in jody and the club members involved. regards trev.

I've bought a couple of parts from Jody too and have never had a single issue. great parts, service and bloke in my eyes!

I would buy parts from Jody anytime, as he's got a good reputation with the members for being a decent bloke........... But I am skint and can't afford bugger all.......lol
