You want a single piece on if you want it to work effectively.

it would be quite a simple task to weld the hinged pieces into a solid struture...single cross braces are the only way to go if you want it for handling body stiffening

I've never bothered with them as my car is pretty much always just gonna be a normal road car

If you want rigidity whilst still adding lightness, Carbing is your best option. Although, real world differences without the 'whole package' of weight reduction and chassis stiffening, between the 2 types, I would have thought are negligible. Especially when considering the price comparison..

It is a perfect fit :) i only bough cos it was cheap :) i dont see a point in spending silly money on strut bar
