Jeff TT signing off (Zedworld)

Well it is with a heavy heart that I announce from today my 14+ year association with the 300zx and the owners both on and not on this forum will come to an end.

It has been a long educational business trip that has supplied a huge amount of highs and a few odd blips but as a whole its been a buzz, and to say it has been a big part of my life is a major understatement.

Of course its has not been all of my making and it would be remit of me to not mention a few names that have been instrumental in the building and maintaining of the Zedworld creation.

A big thanks to Jamie our son who worked along side me for the best part of eight years and whilst learning fast he still managed to show the old man a few tricks along the way!

A big thanks to Danielle our daughter who helped with many of the open day functions helping make the visitors feel welcome with chat, tea and food ( cooked by Lynda)

A super big thanks to my lovely Lynda of which many of you guys will know well, Lynda has been the cement in the Zedworld building blocks, keeping not only the large administration side of the business in order but dealing as a front of house host with chat, tea / coffer and toast to many, there is simply no way Zedworld could have become what it has without Lynda`s support and help.

With the future of the 300zx to carry on for years to come we thought it was time for us to take a break and let new blood take the Zedworld brand forward, so we are off to semi retirement in Portugal, but will pop back on here now and again I am sure.

So there we have it, its been a huge blast guys and girls and whilst I am about to sign off I do have one more announcement and that is Zedworld is to carry on under new management so whilst bidding farewell from me and the Zedworld gang I would like you to welcome the new owner's and join me in wishing them well in their new venture, I expect they will be along very soon to tell you more of their future plans, I will be about for a week or so during hand over so if there any questions or concerns please either pm me or e-mail me at jeff@zedworld.co.uk

A massive thanks to all of our customers many of which have become good friends and thanks to the 300zx forum for providing a platform for us and you all to enjoy the Nissan 300zx

Farewell to all

Life is too short to get hung up about anything, or have regrets, so enjoy it to the fullest

Hell fire mate quite a big announcement! Good luck with your retirement and I feel privileged to have met you! I'm glad the business will live on and hopefully look after 300zx's for many years to come!

Was only there the once but everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly, wish every garage around was like that!

Enjoy the sun and best of luck to Mark for the future

Blimey, that's a bit of a blow. But all the best to you and Lynda and Jamie. Have a well deserved toast in the Portuguese sun.

I fist met Jeff in The Boat car park in Solihull in Mar 2002 and here's a pic to prove it

(the pic of Jeff himself in his shorts has, luckily, disappeared  )

He explained why my tailgate props couldn't hold the tailgate up and more (soggy spoiler) and told me where to get the fibreglass replacement. 11 years on, Zedworld have looked after all three of my Zeds and they'll be sadly missed.

All the best and many thanks, Gio

Best wishes for retirement Jeff, my Zed probably wouldn't be on the road without your and Jamie's work!
