Is it just me, or are the general public getting ruder?

It's not rudeness it's ignorance as well. This morning a lady had broken down in the middle of a main road, 10 yards round a corner. Everyone's cuing to get past her, she's outside the car waiting for the inevitable idiot to slams into her car. Why did no one stop? Pushing her car to pavement would make it safer and easier for all. Apparently she had been there a fair while! Wtf?

The amount of customers, and employers I Hear in shops using the phrase "I want" pardon? Has no ever thought you "I would like" or "if you could" followed by a PLEASE.

Which leads me to final current gripe, people who refuse to let you out when it would actually make life easier! Followed by those arseholes who don't say thank you when you let them out.

I tell you when I'm grand emperor of Europe, there will be a lot of ignorant rude people removed from society.

:rofl::rofl:

Can I add to the moaning list with people who park in parent/child or disabled spaces at supermarkets, when they haven't got any kids or disabilities. If you are one of them then you are an ANNOYING **** and if you do it in Lincoln there's a good chance I'd say something to you lol :)

Some fat old bloke parked in the kid space outside wickes so I asked him if his kids were at school and he spent the next 2 minutes lecturing me about his disability and the fact they have moved the spaces around lol

I always use the disabled spaces!!!!

you should see some of ths scum i deal with renting out bedsits, some very nice people but some complete aresholes, they thinnk being on the dole keeps me in work, i tell them if i wasnt doing this i would be doing something else

real horrible nasty people, just two days ago i recieved another threat of a beating from an ex tennant (owed money so i evicted him), guy across the road from where he lives had loaned him a bike, he was gonna bring it back on thursday so i text the guy i would see him there and discuss the threat, daft cnut sent his scraggy girlfriend round with the bike lol

i find treating them the way they treat you works for me lol

I had a guy in the local ASDA getting abusive with the young lady looking after 6 of those self service checkouts. She was running around helping everyone at once and he started swearing at her in front of my little boy. Everyone stood there and looked at him but said nothing. I politely asked him to stop swearing in front of my little boy and got a torrent of abuse back, he also added that the girl on the checkouts was a F***ing lazy B**ch. He then rammed my trolley, with my one year old son sitting in it with his trolley very hard, made my sons neck jolt and made my 1 year old scream and cry....

Unfortunately, I saw red, grabbed him and threw him through a display of beer cans........ I looked round thinking, "what have I done!"..........I got a round of applause from all the other customers, a thank you from the store manager for sticking up for her staff and an apology because of what the guy did to my son....

The guy got up and ran out of the store..... He was about 50 years old, suited and looked like he was loaded...

The security guard got it on tape and keeps watching it...... he say's it's karma and it makes him laugh seeing this guy go from rude aggressive and abusive to terrified........

I just wish I hadn't lost it........ but my son is everything......lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I think you deserve a medal

on a brighter note, michelle has just left a great comment in our local adsas comment book about a worker who we asked if there was anymore of the cheap stella (18 tins for £12 as the shelf was empty) he ran round to the isle where i was, scanned and said there are three left but they may have been took, he ran out the back like a bat out of hell and came back with the last three cases, i bought them all and shook his hand

restored my faith in humanity lol, always try and remember the good things people do as appose to the bad they do as the latter greatly outweighs the other unfortunalty

Nice one mate you did the right thing with that eejit :thumbup1:

well the other day, went to pick my little boy up from nursery, now the nursery is attached to the primary school, the carpark is supposed to be solely for staff and nursery parents, but you get all the damn primary school parents park in there, anyway, i got in and as usual the carpark was full, so i waiting next to 3 cars for around 5 mins (got there early), i noticed a carpark spot directly behind me that became available, so i stuck my reverse light on and reversed up, just as the guy pulled off and i was about to slot into the bay, some dumb ass cow, swung her car almost into the rear of me, and then reversed her self in the bay.

F***ing hate shit like that, she didnt even have the courtesy to say sorry, she just got out, seemingly oblivious to what she had just done, even though she was close enough to my car to change my reverse lamp bulb, and trundled off to get her sprog.

Also had another woman in there, park her car directly across the face of 3 parking bays that were empty? why she couldnt park in one of those bays is beyond me.

School run mums are savage mate. Focused on those kids hitting the drop zone, I swear the way some of them drive they are still over the limit from the night before.

Sorry to all our lady drivers on here who I am sure are very courteous but I find them in general they are very dismissive of other drivers. I have never been let out of a junction by a female driver in my life and they turn into road rage drivers when behind the wheel! I will go and hid now as I get slapped for this post. :surrender:

I do notice a lot of women drivers drive like they have something to prove. I will stand up for myself when I'm out and about. I can't stand queue jumpers and woe betide anybody who doesn't say thank you when I've been lovely and let them go 1st.

Actually Gaz - you have a bit of a point there mate. Although personally I find it's the young female drivers (say under 25 years) who are among the worst on the road. Whenever I see someone on the phone or texting at the wheel, 99% of the time it is a young female driver. And whilst statistics say that young men drive faster, it's the young women who speed around shopping centre car parks at 30mph; not thinking that someone could be reversing from a bay - or walking across the car park.... They are pretty agressive drivers too - funny when they tailgate me through town when I'm doing 30; but get to the open roads outside the villages and they're nowhere to be seen....

Other than that, white van drivers, Audi drivers, BMW drivers, Merc drivers, Volvo drivers, MPV drivers..... Everyone but me in fact....

Richard:thumbup1:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Welcome Martin and why not introduce yourself with some info on your zed in the Newbies Section :thumbup1:

Manners definately have died a death in this country and others.

I just dont get it, manners cost NOTHING and almost no effort. So why cant people just use a little courtesy and common decency.

My pet hate is no one warning other drivers of camera vans or traffic cops with camera guns, when i started driving you would have loads of people flashing lights to warn you. Now. Nothing
