Spoiler options

Ok, I've been looking at my new toy over the last few days and I'm thinking she could benefit from a boot spoiler. I don't want anything too garish or lairy... something nice and subtle would be ideal :)

Are there any "ducktail" options available for these? I just fancy something small to break up the enormous expanse of flat that is the end of the bootlid.

I'm not struck on the 99 spec spoiler or the pedestal-type that were fitted from (I think) 94 on. And definitely no hi-level jobs either!

Bless me with your knowledge and wisdom please, people! :)

i agree with you there mate, a ducktail spoiler suits the lines of the 300zx, but IMHO thats not a ducktail.

A ducktail shouldnt curve up as much as that

How about original stock spoiler?

That's probably what I'm going to opt for, to be honest. Or one of Car Mad's variants on the 89 spec.

Not everyone's cup of tea but I personally love this spoiler, D-Speed. Good luck finding one :D

It's removed and replaced by sticker strips either side of the brake light.

Where on earth do you get those from...??

And thanks, Baz: pictures like that make me want to forget keeping the car looking standard!!!

first dibs if your one is with brake light :)

Mondo when you flashed the pictures of your new Zed, It confirmed for me how I wanted to get my car looking, the rear spoiler like Garys is Knackered and is coming off and will stay that way..personaly I think your car stands out because of the clean look. I think the 300zx sometimes looses its smooth profile because some spoilers can break up abruptly what is a great rear end...everyones individual but I think the clean smooth look is the business.

Mondo if you start destroying that fine example with silly spoilers ime going to ban you:ban::biggrin:

No silly spoilers here, but I do want a small lip on the boot of some description!

Has anyone got any recommendations for a ducktail type spoiler? Or does anyone have one of Car Mad's smooth spoilers fitted so I can see some more angles please...?
