Ripply rear bumper...

Hmmm, since removal and installation a few weeks ago, my rear bumper appears to have gotten some cellulite! It's definitely related to the position of the mounting studs and bolts but I can't button it up without the side and the rear 'ledge' that sticks out becoming slightly wavy.

They are only nipped up a tiny fraction past finger tight and I'm pretty sure it wasn't like it before removal, have I missed a trick? I'm thinking maybe I need to do them up in a certain order...

are you working in the sunlight?? fit it out the sun so it stays cool and the same size. Sounds silly but ive had the same problem on boats with the hull rubbing strip around the boat that grew 25mm after it was taken off, kept it out the sun and cool and it went back to normal size:blink:

You need to remove the shone chip effect on the lower half, that will rid you of the cellulite.
