Ok as parts are hard to get hold of for my pulsar I decided to make my own, I've made a 3in mandrel bent elbow short run straight out the front bumper

Got to be one of the most free flowing shortest exhaust? Lol

It will have a couple of inch of pipe on the end aswell just rough mock up before I weld it

Elbow test fit nice and tight

No difference really to having a normal 3in system with no silencers, this will just exit faster plus it has a silencer

Also it's new ish turbo on so should be fine, also these have been done many times before with no problems

I was on a first aid course years ago and there was a guy there who owned a plumbing place who was loaded, he had a massive merc a lambo and a porche turbo amongst others and he said on a porche dyno day they took the exhaust off and just put an elbow on and ran again and gained 90 bhp, his words not mine :)

if you have a 360 degree thurst bearing it wont harm the turbo, if you have the standard thrust bearing it will smoke after not along.

As I've said others run this setup and have done for years with no problems, it's the exact same as running any free flowing system,

Also a gt3071r will be going on soon

A 360 trust only protects the front from overboost, rear seal wise a stepped gap is the best way forward, however even with both they can still bloody leak, mine still leak after being rebuilt with both, albeit only when ive been ragging it.
