I am currently in the process of removing my old down pipes and can not for the life of me work out how to get the two top nuts off on the drivers side.

Advice greatly needed!

The two on the turbo? You have to remove the whole front pipe this will give you better access to the four bolts, the top two will have to be accessed from behind, a uj and a socket should get on there with some careful placement, once you work out the right spot its easy. The worst part is making sure they come off without snapping the stud etc, so a good overnight soak in wd or another penetrating liquid is paramount.

Yes it was, and thanks for the advice they came off no problem, but I now have major blowing from around the down pipe area, checked the down pipes and they are ok so I'm at a complete loss

to fine out where the blow is out some paper on the end or a thin rod, put it wround where the leak may be to narrow it down. wheeler dealers does have some good tips :)

Go down from the top, next to the auto dipstick with a 3/8 14" ratchet and small (in lenght) socket...then run in doors and ask the missus where the band aid,s are for all the cuts to the back of your hands.

I will give that a go tomorrow, I did not put this in the turbo to down pipe, Is it going to matter?

Also the decat section does not go onto the original hanger mounts?

I am starting to get the feeling I have either ordered the wrong part or have made a major balls up somewhere!

The above part is the divorce section to stop the gasses mixing from the waste gate. It will work better with it, but I doubt it will cause issues without.

As for the fitment mines the same it only just catches on the gearbox mounting bracket. Japspeeds by any chance?

I was not aware of that, I did read somewhere about the japspeed being sold by 2fast2cool.

Shame about the fitment but I suppose the fact it is leaking exhaust gases like mad is my main worry!

Well it can only be leaking round the joints, and there are only three on each side. Process of elimination, you can always get an assistant to pop something over of the tail pipes to increase the restriction and increase the obviousness of the leak.

Very true its just I had it up on ramps and checked around the turbo to down pipes and could feel anything and the fact it is loud and is on both sides is worrying.

I will do the paper trick tomorrow on the top I must have missed something.

After inspection today with a bamboo stick with tissue attached it is apparent that my leak is coming from the 02 sensor bungs.

These were air gunned up like the rest of the exhaust so I cannot really understand why they are leaking.

I had the same problem with mine, I had to bend the mounting points upwards by about 20 degrees so as to miss the bracket and yet still fit the clamp.

A right pain in the a*se.
