My new shell came today, from sussex stu.

so got on a mission, took the doors, bonnet, wings, tailgate off.

swapped them with my ones.

stripped the engine bay, got to jet wash it tomorrow.

Removed rear diff, subframe, got to remove front cross member in the morning thrn stonechip arches and underneath the whole car.

one of the sills were dented, from a jack and I've sorted that.

Hi guys. had a mission sanding down all the stonechip effect on the rear bumper

Hi Terry, how did you sand down the stonechip on the bumper? Literally by hand with sandpaper or did you use an orbital sander of some sort? Going to do this myself in the next few weeks before I fit my twinz diffuser but don't want to end up with a wavy, uneven mess! I assume no filler is involved?

I used a da sander and started with 180grit took it has flat has possible, dont need every bit taken away.

then I used adhesion promoter only cause I had some left from front bumper.

Then high build primer it will still look bumpy when u paint high build but use the da again I used a 240 grit took it back to it was level,

There was still a couple of bits so I coated it with high build again and used a 500 on the da and it came out nice.

most of the high build is sanded off so its not silly thick but id say to sand it all off and use no high build would probably make bumper thin and take forever lol...
