The end of an era................

Today was the day, she has sat on the drive for 2 years, whilst he sister got all the attention, prior to that, she did the south of France 4 times carp fishing with me, blew her engine up playing with a DB7 in France, had a transplant from Uno's old zed and was bought back to life, attended a few meets, and destroyed 99% of the chavs in sussex.

I owned her for nearly 6 years, she never complained as it was always the drivers fault. As she supplied bits to help her older sister out, but to have no rust and a very good shell, i just couldnt bring myself to send her to the scrappy. I advertised her on here. But no one wanted her, lots of lookers but no home, poor fairlady............

with no brakes, gearbox, or engine and most of the interior out she looked worse for wear.

As she said a good bye to her sister

006-1_zps93fdfa4b.jpg

and got a ride to somewhere else

she left me......................................

But there is light at the end of the tunnel, she is on her way to her new home, to be completely stripped and re sprayed, with lots of new stuff.

Really hope her new owner looks after her, and cares for her, she will be like a phoenix and rise again.

Nice to know she is staying in the south, and also in the club.

Goodbye my lady, hope to see you soon, when youre all new.

I will bring your sister up to meet you.

Nice to know hopefully another zed saved

and its nice to know some zed owners still care about not just breaking and sending to the scrapyard like some old ford or vauxhall automotive slag:wink:

I promise not to destroy this one too guys,

She's going straight to be painted....no welding whoop whoop.

I got rid of the welder anyway oh and the grinder.

I'll post some pics up stu when shes white and shiny.

Thanks stu, u been a great help.

At least she will see the light of day again in the not too distant future ( assuming Terry gets his finger out of his arse this time )

Only kidding mate, i know you went though alot of pain deliberating over your old zed, good luck with the new one and look forward to the progress pics

Last 6 lol,

That engine bay on the 1st one was a ba@#ard.

2nd ended up with flared rear arches full of filler.

this ones dirty but me and stu looked over it and its solid.

main place we looked was inside car, behind rear quarter pads etc.

these cars seem to look good on the outside but look in there with a torch and some of them are rotten.

this ive even had me arm down into the seal and feels really clean.

so fingers crossed, I get it tomorrow. And gonna paint it asap with lots of pics.

Good luck with it Terry!

and Stu I was expecting you to say you've sold the black one, but then I thought no chance lol

Sad day for you Stu, but great for Terry, good luck with it Terry, and plenty of progress pics please buddy. Stu you will see her again soon.
