cant see any as J spec dont have either on there manwell models

I used to have a manual UK z which had a diff oil cooler, when I broke the car up the oil cooler only had about 3 drops of fluid in. I later found out that the diff oil cooler only starts to work at crazy speeds.

I asked a similar question a year or so back in regaurd's to the manual transmission cooler, and was informed by silverbullit that even in his race car zed it wasn't required. My understanding of its reason for inclusion on UK models is for towing stress, English people like caravans according to japan I guess lol.

I think it was for autoban use, Japs dont tow cos some of there houses are made of paper and can be rolled up and put through roof.

From memory, oil coolers were added/upgraded to Euro spec cars after high speed testing by Nissan on German autobahns.

The description of the system is here:

OK, since the transmission cooler i basically just a loop and just like the diff coller don't start before you drive faster than 120km/h and if the temperature gets to hot the warning lights will show in the dash when the tran and diff cooler starts then I don't see the point in having it. If the warning lights goes on when driving you are going to stop the car anyway (well at least 99,9% of us is going to do that).

Thanks for the info. I am removing the trans and diff cooling
