Make sure there is Extra Insurance to cover the total cost on top of what the standard £10 per KG ..

cheers mark i was thinking of strapping it up with a ship container strap and joely i'm 50/50 i could quite easily be quite abit out of pocket

Don't allow payment with PayPal. Have it as bank transfer so that the guy can't do you up the bum and claim the engine was damaged. I would also suggest taking a lot of pictures showing any damage or that there is no damage as there's a good chance of an incident when it's going that far

LOL Mark I like that comment.....

made me chuckle..... :-)

haha not funny... i know what you mean :(

Just don't do it. Wait for a UK buyer. Soon much can go wrong with customs etc.

If he dosnt pay them it's down to you to do so. Or pay to have it shipped back or disposed off.

plus iff it completly goes tits up and your not at fault its a lot harder to threaten with a slap, distance being your handicap:D

have them arrange there own shipping and pick up then its classed as a pick and there are no returns allowed through ebay or refunds on paypal

......LOL, and with Bri also...

IMO, it's too much of a risk. Stick with a UK buyer or have the overseas buyer collect on a "no refund" basis.

well i've taken the risk, he's decided to pay directly with paypal, i've checked his company out and he builds classic cars in milan so i'm 90% sure its going to go alright.

if it does'nt i'm driving to the south of france in a van on a fishing trip in june so just another few hundread miles more and maybe abit of muscle might come in useful!
