Got a mid morning call from my best mate, he had a moment on the M40 this morning going to work and despite been an ace driver could not stop the 180 spin into the barrier!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news he walked away unhurt, which is the most important, but his zed of 14 years ownership is looking less well, thank goodness for the barrier which stopped this been a very different outcome.

So after much deliberation should it be repaired or should it not be repaired with 14 years of ownership the decision was made and work has begun, though it might be interesting to share the progress.

Yay!! Nice to see someone take the (not necessarily financially wise) decision to save a car they love!

The cost is certainly not been a factor in to repair or not to, or the it would firmly be a NO!

So the repair parts list is huge however with a donor zed at hand we have started the process.....

so a little taster until I can upload some more later.

So the donor zed.

Great work so far Jeff, I was hoping it was going to be saved

Very interesting seeing how the 300 is constructed under its outer skin.

my thoughts exactly

No chassis damage then or has it been on a jig already?

Great project and great commitment to keep the zed on the road.
