....I did not buy an advance stand ticket this year; although I was planning to come along as a visitor...... Until I heard my dad had been taken into hospital yesterday, so I'm off to London in the morning to visit him.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

sorry to hear that Rich

Cheers buddy; although having spoken to my mum this evening he should be fine. It's his age now; at 77 with a past history of heart problems they don't take any chances. In fact he should be allowed home tomorrow, but all the same I think I'll pop over and see him just to make sure he's alright.

Enjoy the show - and please do put up lots of pics mate!!

Indeed Noz; this was an event organised by the Zclub but one to which our own members are also invited. So whilst our members have a presence, it is the Zclub's club stand and we are their guests - a bit like JAE is for us. We take a stand there each year under our name and banner, but we also invite the Zclub to join us as our guests.

In all honesty though, we have not formally discussed the issue of club banners at each others' events. So I guess we'll take on board your comment and have that conversation with the Zclub to decide how we proceed at such events in the future. Thanks for bringing the issue to the committee's attention mate,
