No, its a Ebay trick, you increase the price past what someone will realistically pay for it, means its out of stock (yes i know it says 10 available) but all he has to do is lower the price once more come in stock, this saves his ebay listing from costing more money.

Yeah, they're doign something a bit dodgy with their cat back exhausts too.....been watching a few the last couple of weeks, when they don't seem to be fetching much on the auction they get removed.....then I'll get a message a few days later saying 'an item u were watching has been relisted'

It's so they don't lose the metrics associated with out of stock items, which would adversely affect visibility due to eBay's search algorithms :)
