Hi Guys

I have mentioned this before (also chatted it with Jeff @ Zedworld last time we met as he is REO for midlands and he is happy for me to post this event here)

They have this big classic car show every year in Trentham Gardens Stoke-On-Trent with around 1200 cars and 5000 visitors

Date: 16 June 2013-16 June 2013 Times: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Car Information: Twenty two super years at this great venue which offers over 1200 vehicle entries, 50 Club Stands, Autojumble and Trade - with the beautiful backdrop of the now fully refurbished Trentham Park and Italian Gardens. Over 5,000 visitors enjoy this great day out every year.

Event Description: Set in the beautiful backdrop of the now fully refurbished Trentham Park and Italian Gardens.

Location: Trentham Gardens on A34 near Stoke

Area: Staffordshire

Region: North West

Postcode:ST4 8AX

I had a quick chat today with the show organisers - they would be happy for any of our Zeds to attend

And it is cheap!

Entry is £3.50 per car for driver and up to three passengers (it costs you far more than that just to visit Trentham Gardens normally!)

This gives full access to Trentham Gardens which is actually quite a nice place for a family day out! http://www.trentham.co.uk/trentham-gardens

If any wives and gf's who wan't to go out into the 'craft village' they can get a pass out

We could either book in individual passes - I will be going anyway - or if we want a group stand (all cars into their own group are parked together and we can put up club banners etc) then we need at least six cars and we book them in as a group, all the passes go to the club organiser who redistributes them to the individual members attendind

The organisers close entries 3 weeks before the event, so ther is some time to organise

The organisers are www. transtarpromotions.com They also have several more shows around the midlands but trentham is the largest they tell me

So come on guys, what do you think? It's a cheap family day in nice surroundings with plenty to do - and a good chance to promote our cars and the club

OK list updated - see page one of this thread

Well I was gonna PM all those interested with payment details but seeing as a lot of you can't actually take PMs it didn't help much lol

Never mind I can put this here: You can make payment via paypal. The price is £3.50 for one car and up to four people. Please mark your payment as a gift, and please attach a note of your profile name. I have told the organisers we have enough cars for a group stand and will collect all the monies together and pay them at the start of May

Any stragglers can be added until the end of May

We can all meet on the day for breakfast, then I can distribute the passes and we can all drive in convoy to the show

As £3.50 is hardly gonna break the bank, please could you send your payment soon rather than waiting until the last moment

payment to

ebaytrader@uksatcentre.com

Cheers, and thanks for supporting this event

I'm not sure how the Fitzherbert arms got into this - oh it was a members suggestion to meet there on the morning of the show then drive in convoy...

If i remember corrcetly the Fitzherbert is Hanchurch area somewhere.... anyway this is just a members suggestion, not confirmed yet.

@mark300zx

what is it with members on this forum, most of them seem unable to be PMed!! lol

If you want to meet up over the weekend for a pint, and pay your Trentham money I was going to sugget The Pepper Mill, which is the new pub on the retail park behind Pizza Hut in Longton

I am free most of Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday afternoon whichever suits you best

I've also PMed PaulR about meeting us both

OK the club stand is now booked

Final Numbers to be confirmed with the organisers in May, three weeks before show

13 cars so far - and there is plenty of space available for more of you to add yourselves to the list

Here a couple of videos and pics from previous events, so you can get some idea of the size and diversity of this show

Let's get a good turnout and go and put 300zx.co.uk firmly back on the map in Stoke!

Looks like a good mix of cars  meeting up before is a good idea. Then we can arrive in style!!

Im glad the word diversity was used as my 33 is going to be very much the minority in the group! :D

I'm sure i can sculk at the back of the pack somewhere :D

I'd take the 300 but Its not how i want it yet and the front bumper still needs tidying..... If i can get my new wheels and suspension setup in time i'll bring that instead though :)

Why not if it means more cars

I wasn't a member of ZClub but I have now registered. It may be better if someone else posts on there as I am completely new to the site. Actually I spotted a lot of familiar names there...
