cheers done a search but couldnt fin either, when i had my uk zed i looked into it and thought it was an engine out job but good if you can do with the engine in:-)

yes it normally is engine out job ..

to the post i seen is was

Brake servo/Master cylinder off

all upper boost pipes

Battery

and i think few other items as well

only then was it possible to see tub and get to bolts

bit of a mess .. but then again

you will not need to touch the gear box and other items ..

or take the engine out .. so then there is no need to use an engine crane

and take all your front end off to do so ..

so when u look at it that way .. in time Prob will be a little less

but really its going to be easier

Both sides can be done with engine in.

The work shop manual says to do it with engine in,

Drivers side turbo u need to remove master cylinder,

Passnger side I found to be the hardest but still can be done,

I found the main thing is tools need to be good quality, things like air ratchets help in tight spots but not essential,

And if any bolts are rusty/seized u have had it lol.

The worse bits are the annoying little tabs that go round the nuts holding the turbo's on..

Good luck..

looking at it once your aircon is out, the passengerside looks a piece of piss and I recon knowing mine came off recently I could have it off in an hour.... the drivers side not so much... however being honest pulling the block is a much less head achey way to do things allows you to go ahead and fix all those stupid little water lines and things like knock sensors without breaking a sweat. it took us 12 hours to pull my block, that was first pull annoying bolts the lot, I recon I had to do it again I could have it on the floor within a few hours. if you do take it out, you can happily replace and check over things like turbo oil feed lines that might be missed and make you repeat the process almost instantly.
