It's two for me; although again I have no pics as I did not have a digi camera or camera phone back in those days.....

First was a 1961 Rover 100 P4. My dad bought it when I was 4 and I took it on when he stopped driving in about 1990 following his heart problems - I loved that car as it had great sentimental value...

Second was my old Jag; I had a 1974 series 2 XJ6 4.2... It was in reasonable condition - just needed a little tidying, but all good considering its age. It failed an MOT on the steering ball joints - and I could never be bothered to get it fixed; so again I sold it for a couple of hundred pounds when it could have been worth so much more, had I been bothered at the time.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Just becuase it was the first car I built from the ground up and was brilliant fun!

Think it was the s2000 for me... my dream car for a long time but just not useable as a daily, especially after I played with it :)

for me it was bog standard looking 1973 mini clubman with a 1380 stage 3 block twin twin 45dcoe webbers and very loud exhaust .....great fun .....sole it for a

cortina Mk3 2000 gxl .......no pics as i am an old fart and dont have any ....

My silly-coloured Fiat Uno MK2 turbo. I was genuinely upset when I sold it, even though I had a 350bhp Sapphire Cosworth. The damn thing used to leave me stranded on a regular basis, but it sat happily up the backside of a Supra at 140mph. I think I miss my Cosworth more now though. I don't think I could ever 'feel' anything for a Japanese car in the same way. They just do everything so well. Unlike an old turbocharged Ford or Fiat. You have to love 'em, else you'd just torch 'em

alfasud 1.5 ti 3 door x reg think theres only a few left swaped it for a 20s capri which i wrote off .

I can't find any pics at the moment but for me I 100% regret selling the first car that I'd ever owned. It was a mint black 'D' reg Fiesta XR2 with only 30k on the clock, I was just 17 years old at the time.

I was forced to sell it by my parents and looking back at it now the guy that bought it off me saw me coming a mile off. I only got £800 for it partly due to my not knowing my arse from my elbow but also due to the fact that my old man saw it as a 10 year old Ford Fiesta and advised me to bite the guys hand off.

When I say it was mint it was immaculate, the previous owner was a mechanic and pampered it in his garage from new!! If I found it now in the same condition I'd snap it up.....just need to find a pic or at least some reference to the reg number...

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying:  :hammer:

I've got a Bertone Ltd Edition one of those (no. 56 or something) in blue.

For me it's my old Vectra GSi, never missed a beat that car and stuck to the road like glue, also had AP Racing 4pot brakes with 330mm discs. Couldn't justify keeping it once I got my zeds. Pretty sure that once I get my lady on the road I won't give the gsi a scond thought thou' lol

I know the car you mean, I had a similar one in blue with half leather half blue suede seats, really nice to look at but crap 1.8 engine.

I most regret getting rid of a Mazda Xedos. Proper old mans car but it was sooo smooth. Lovely to drive
