I had exactly the same issue as you Brian, fresh engine build with same tubbies, run it in, up the boost and... Pop! The exchange rate was v good at the time so I went for the Z1 GT525's, not ovally laggy but a fair improvement over stock. The difference on launch isn't massive but the GT525's don't run out of puff towards the top of the rev band like stock so pull a lot stronger through each gear. Worth a butchers...

a pair of gt2554r ball bearing would give you enough puff for 480 hp and arnt silly expensive i can get these straight from garrett in around 3-5 days if you want a chat give me a shout on the blower happy to run through all turbo options and spool up times with you

What sorta ballpark is not silly? Im probally going to go that way in about 18 months with some 550 deschworks
