sorry misread, he had a cayenne s

kayman's are nice, another mate was looking at spending 18k on one some time back

go like stink but i do believe very high maintaince...take money Daz and dont be stuck with a lemon

I say take the money aswel, the Porsche could be a basket case. I like the caymen but there must be a reason you don't see many of them, boxsters I see millions 911s of all types I see dozens caymens very few.... does make you wonder.

The Cayman is supposedly a really good car from what I have read - the new 2013 model is apparently better than many a 911; but £25k cheaper.... But the old shape is still a car to be reckoned with....

....Hell, even though it rhymes with "Gay Man" I'd have one over a Boxster. And the "S" is the fast one with over 300bhp. Ok the "R" is the fastest, but there's very little in it; and the "R" is stripped of all the luxuries like a radio, ac and anything else that makes the journey more comfortable!!

They also held their value quite well too - but will suffer now the new version is here. So as long as the Porsche is in a good way, it could very well be worth it! Check it over thoroughly; do the HPi check and make sure it comes with full Porsche history (with bills to prove) etc....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

caymens are great cars to drive mate very easy to live with and fast as fook. Remember porkers are mega reliable aswell and hardly ever go wrong just have a listen though for a tinny rattle in the engine bay and check the rad for any mayo looking goo if that is present get ready for a 10 grand bill so other then that there top motors - have driven one for a few months loved it

Be very, very careful. Google "Porsche engine problems" there are tons of examples of engine failure. Some cars on 3rd engine before 100k. In my family there is a 03/04 911, 100k. Full pampered history at OPC and specialists. Engine is scrap! Malton Porsche (big independent) who have looked at, reckon they can fill their workshop with engine repair jobs on modern watercooled porsches. Porsche had so many failures that they were selling new factory engines for £6.5k.

Would`nt it be funny if it was a replica based on an ferrari?
