  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I took mine out of the garage and cleaned/treated the leather after the smart repairs on Tuesday. I then gave it a wipe down with detailing spray, ready for Museum of Power show tomorrow:thumbup:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

LOL don’t like to rush these things!. To be honest I couldn’t make my mind up on it like you but am happy with the look now. Got rid of the nasty fiberglass wings and vents also.

I went out into the garage today to take the meter readings and the Z was like “hey, how you doin”!

No problem richard and thank you.

Look forward to seeing the photos! Particularly after forgetting to bring the drone and my phone being too full to take any myself!

Just finished removing the door card from the car today ready to take in the morning to the paintshop again!

He will be repainting the door to remove the mark in it and undoing the damage from the councils mishap.. oh and also taking the pin dent from the drivers door that appeared during the show aswell!

I seriously dont know how people manage it, seem my car is a magnet for damage recently!

Well dropped the old girl off at the paintshop this morning and she is having the bits and bobs corrected. She should be back with me thursday morning!

The scratches to the wing section caused by the council strimmer guy have already been corrected. Fortunately isnt costing a lot as the painter has some sympathy for me!

Anyway, after dropping her off i went down to essex to look at another Z that im part buying and will be collecting it on saturday! Some new bits for me and the rest being forwarded on to the partner in the purchase.

So, I'll update you when the parts have been transferred!

All in all, not been a bad day at all!

Good work Paul, I have a few rust spots Ive noticed on my z I will have to get done.

Fresh MOT, not advisories. Happy days. Car running extremely well. Need to do a wheels-off detail for next weekend, there are going to be some very nice examples there I think.

Well done that Z :) Yours will be one of the best Si if not the best. Pity I will miss it. :(

Thanks Gary although I think Joel's and Andrew's are on another level to be honest! Despite all being painted by the same guy, mine isn't as sharp as the others, might be due to the colour.

Shame you're not going to be there!

Its just been a hard two years Paul but hopefully there is light at the end of this dark tunnel. I will miss yous speach at the AGM mate and Funkysi I know for one is hoping you have a good one prepared.

Today, I washed my Zed in preparation for the AGM next weekend..... Then gave it a quick coat of Auto Finesse "radiance" Carnauba Crème:cool:

When I got home after the Museum of Power show last weekend, I could not be bothered to swap the cars around on the drive - so I used the Zed all week. Rude not to:wink: However it was in need of a little clean this morning!!

The past few weeks I've been changing all my suspension arms to SPC, also went back to stock fuca's with the shim kit jimmer kindly installed for me. So today I went to TunedUK for a full alignment. I was really impressed with the place & the guy really knew his stuff, unlike quikfit last time. The car now feels planted to the road & is ready for next weekends meet.
