Going to start this thread for members to post up what they did each day to there zed. I will start with getting my MOT this morning. So what did you do today on your 300?:cool3:

It's far from the finished article, but it does the job as a first trial test. If anyone's ever fitted the Z1 2.5" pipe kit, you'll know how difficult a job it is. Our kit was designed, built (including tig welding) and fitted in just 13hrs (minus stopping for a mapping session on Silverline's car) as part of a mad rush for TOTB.

I fitted some scoops in my hood :)

Just finished waxing the whole car with Zymol. Its first wax since I had it painted. Obviously did it out of sunlight and with the prospect of rain also, that is where it stayed!

 

Came out quite well. Excuse the state of the garage. I need to a complete clearout!

 

 

 

Did the Dub too. I'm now bored of car cleaning! Why is the GP on so late!!!??

Have you mudflaps on the front Si?

Yup. It's the US one. Only have them at the front to protect the rear wheels from flying rocks and also the leading edge of the lower part of the wings.

Sorry, phone went. I took a number of photos. Gives you an idea of how it fixes. It does of course fix using the cars own fixing points where the arch liner mounts to the wing, so it's neat and discrete. Sorry about the photo quality. My camera is dead, so took this on my phone.

I'll add that they're great quality with a really nice finish. I only fitted the fronts though. Prefer them to the JDM ones which i think are a little on the cumbersome side.

I agree, the jdm ones were one of the first things I removed. I will fit the rears but whether they stay depends on how they look next to my 'gamble of a' twinz diffuser!

Might be able to help you with that. Let me just check my mate's Z....he has a red SWB TT with TwinZ diffuser and USDM flaps.
