  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Ah right, the wire ones that attach the rad hoses. Thanks

Yup. Could be off something like the air filter pipes or the recirc pies etc. could be worth looking, especially if you have any air leaks ;-)

Well given that I have the radiator off ATM, I hope I'll fine where it goes :)

I found it BTW, it was a lower radiator hose, got a new washer and it now works again.

Here's the update: basically done now.

Just need to finish something on the heater cores and then put the fan back in :)

Went round with a multimeter and ohm testing all of the injectors which were all 10.7 - 10.8 so pretty spot on. Also ohm tested all the splitfires coilpacks, they were all pretty much on 1.0 each. I'm assuming that's within spec spec too but I'm not completely sure. Changed all the spark plugs for my older 7's and the car seemed to run a lot smoother... But will have to give it a few days of use really.

Been a busy couple of days, adjusted the bonnet latch, lowered the coilovers a bit more & resprayed the engine bay. Now I'm sat in liverpool women's hospital as the wife gave birth to our 2nd son this morning so very happy & very tired.

20.3kg - 2.1kg box = 18.2 kg

What are you replacing it with mate?

Shorter 2.5" Aluminium Pipework, Dual Intake (relocated under headlights), and a custom Vertical Flow FMIC relocated further inboard.
