  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Oops! Is that right Gaz, I thought it was USDM only, well there aren't too many UK ones either

Yup - UK/Euro spec Z32s all came with the hamburger logo; some USDM cars did - and others had no badge at all..... I believe it was just the JDM cars which came with the Z logo; but a lot of us UK spec owners have converted ours to the "Z" badge...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I drove mine today - it would have been a waste of a great day not to....

And boy did it gleam in the sunshine; especially after the waxing it had on Sunday....

Well I went to insure her yesterday and will be trying to get a good price again today........

Found out my insurance company HADN'T used the agreed valuation certificate from Z club I supplied them and had only covered it for £5000 last year, plus it wasn't agreed value or covered at night as it wasn't garaged..... looks like they forgot to tell me!!

Then this year they doubled the cost of last years cover.

So trying Adrian Flux, Lancaster, Carole Nash, Footman James.....

Tried Admiral multi-car, but won't insure ANY modifications at all..... they just pay out on OEM parts....

My previous insurer was Lynbrooke using Equity Redstar......

Gave the car a good clean inside and out for the first time, and removed some white paint that somehow ended up all over the driver's side front wing in transit. Still plan to wax it and rotate the wheels today.

Lynbrook or Admiral Multicar Trev?

Lynbrook is part of ERS (Equity Red Star), but I just reinsured mine for half the price with a broker using ERS???

Very hit and miss and worth a ring round each year, just need to double check everything they offer and what is and isn't covered before taking out any policy..... lol

Nothing 'that' interesting, but yeah, the current ones will potentially be up for sale soon. I'll know by Monday what I intend on doing.

It's ok. I found a spare one I bought many years ago. I've managed to get them done and I've updated my 'make my zed better' thread

Drove it to work for the first time this year and to my new job location. Bit worried about my new city center parking space its private allocated parking on the college grounds but two cars have been stolen from here so far this year. Locked and alarmed I will be keeping an eye on it.

Yes something high vis would work Andrew  just the bother of putting it on and taking it of and storing it. The two cars that were stolen the lowlife walked into the College into an empty staff room and removed the car keys from the handbags of the two teachers concerned and drove of! The staff have now been warned not to leave valuables unattanded and my keys will be in my pocket.

Well adter cleaning it and fixing the boost controller wiring yesterday, the car decided, at 3am to wake up the full street randomly.

It wasn't the alarm going off, but rather a constant horn noise. It was ridiculously loud and loads louder than the horn normally is. I'm guessing it was the deeper of the 2 but that hasn't worked for ages. In fact the front snail looking bit isn't even on it. Couldn't get it to stop so I had to pull the battery in the middle of the night.

Was very strange.
