Going to start this thread for members to post up what they did each day to there zed. I will start with getting my MOT this morning. So what did you do today on your 300?:cool3:

Ive modded my door handles so now the keyring lights up and a hiden led behind the door grab so it all lights up when you unlock your car. ive also put down lights in my wing mirrors to light up the floor at night when the car is unlocked :cool3:

 

What colour have you done the halo part of the handles? And I knew someone had bought a set of these :whistling: not thought about putting them in the door mirrors though :thumbdown:.

Ive just gone for bright white like the door grabs and the down lights. Ive not bought the nissan ones though not my cup of tea i like to keep things classy :)

 

Plus if you put those in the mirrors it would be to hard or to big to see on the floor.

Regretting starting the underseal in this gorgeous weather!... I was going to drop the subframe and do under there but that'll have to wait as this weather is giving me an itch!

thanks to bad300z coming round showing me the n/a water bypass,now done prop shaft now on, aiv now gone, polishing now finished new gaskets on the rockers and sealant,now to pull rad and put the ally one in with the oil cooler and new lines and put the exhaust on and then last put the dash back job done

CheerZ Dave. I'm using dinitrol ML3125 solvent based cavity wax inside all the nooks and crannies! And dinitrol 4941 solvent based underbody wax underneath. Just about ready to drop it back down, I didn't get as much done as a planned this time round but will work my way across the car.

After days of fiddling put my indiglo clocks in yesterday and I pretty much have them spot on, road testing will now tell me where I need to make any very minor adjustments and as from midnight I am putting the lady back on the road for 6 months :thumbup1:.

 

So some last minute work carried out today :

 

Battery trickle charged and bolted in, it's been in and out, in and out for the last 6 months.

All tyres inflated, checked oil and water a few days ago.

Drivers side heated mirror arrived in the post from Paul Banzai, broke last one getting it off doing my mirror indicator mod, didn't make the same mistake this time :glare: and that was plugged in and snapped on.

Mint ashtray again from Paul, now fit.

Finally tracked down some nice bonnet hinge covers, yes again from Paul, gloss blacked, lacquered and now fit.

About 7 litres of fuel put in to get me to a filling station.

Put my make up and lippy in the glovebox so I'm good to go :yes:.

 

Me, i watched as DVLA returned the blue zed after they stole it from me. numpty's.

Booked MOT for Friday. Checked fluids, fitted wheels and dropped it of the axal stand it been on for over a year. Started engine and check lights, horn, etc all working perfectly.

 

Not been MOT'ed for 2 years and there have been some changes since so I hope she still passes.....

yep, and i have a one way valve for you from the break master cylinder

Sorted the issue of whether or not to paint my standard wheels......decided not to, and ditched em for a 'new' set that I picked up for a steal :thumbup1:

These were on it when I first went looking at it and swapped to standards following price bartering....bloke still had em and wrangled a deal to get them out of his way!

polished the exhaust painted the balance bar kh2 and the Nissan cover kh2 rocker covers kh2 belt cover kh2 and the back rear cover kh2 to match the body work

After a nice blast out to Stourhead yesterday, I thought a little clean and wax was on the cards.....
