• We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Yes correct! However, not from a European model as they have the same ones as the UK versions without the flap! Have a friend over from Arizona and he picked up this brand new one from CZP for me. Not the most exciting mod in the world, but I bet no one else has twin mirrors on their sun-visors! :p

Nice wee update Si

That's cos no one else wears makeup simon, they don't call em vanity mirrors for nothing. :p

Shut it bum fluff! :p

I took mine a couple of miles to get some 99 octane ready for my trip to Silverstone/Trax.

Readjusted the clutch pedal so it bites around the middle point as I will no doubt be queuing for ages to get in.

I had it set right on the floor for quick launches at TOTB.

The only other trip I have done since TOTB was for an MOT last week.

As usual the tester didnt want to even get in the car so I ended up operating the pedals for the brake test and putting it on the ramp for him.

It passed of course but he gave me an advisory to cover himself!!!

"Vehicle has been modified in every possible way for track use"!!!!

I wonder what the VOSA data base makes of that.:innocent:

Keeps my chin warm that.

That's shit wouldn't even keep a scrotum warm! lol ;)

Il have you know Julia Roberts has offered me £500 quid and a sherbet dip for my chin hair, she wishes to use it as a merkin in her next block buster.

Is this a good place for the ballasts before I clamp them down?

Should be fine, that's where mine are.

Although if you have more time, try and hide them away as much as possible.

Hide then under the headlight. You can't even see any hint of mine under the bonnet.

How do u get them under the headlight?

If I hide them as much as how best to clamp them down?

Also I got this image.jpg

To replace this image.jpg

What do you think? & is it an easy job?

Also the cruise control is it electric wired as the Momo wheel ain't got it:sad:

Replacing the wheel is an easy job, carefully pull off the centre, bolt on and plug in the electric connector... Job done :)

As far as hiding the his boxes, I will let si tell you how/where to hide them properly.

Nice work Howard. That's the same stuff I used :)

Personally, I would put them either under the headlight or under the nose panel. Not just for the aesthetic benefit of not having them on display but also to keep them away from the heat of the engine bay. A lot of these ballasts can be sensitive to the sort of heat in the area and you could face issues of them not switching back on when hot (having to wait till they cool down).

I quite like that MOMO that you're removing, what size is it?

If they are slim enough you can neatly tuck them between the front rails and the headlight, take the panel off and you will see the slot I mean. I don't like clutter in the engine bay personally.

Good shout on the steering wheel, the stock units are a bloody nice looking piece as they are.

Went for a drive into wales this morning, the Horse Shoe Pass, with my mate who's just bought a new motor bike. Would make a great meeting place for the north west/north wales crew. Decent cafe there too.
