  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I am now left with some sticky residue where bushes were any tips on what to use to get this as clean as possible

A few bits fitted new o rings on balance bar after investigating hissing noise sorted that out too altho the reg is quite noisey then put it all back together and fitted some new led sidelights for a fresher look and used the original bulbs to replace both non working ones in the number plates, the checked out why my car has been running hotter than normal since cam belt and water pump change turns out bloody air lock so that was also sorted and now running normal temp again even after a cheeky hoon down the a303 all in all productive day on my zed more of the to do listy with plenty more on way haha

Took the Zed out for 100 mile round trip, still running him in. Car behaved faultlessly.

The other half even said the exhaust wasn't to bad, that was a surprise, lol

Lovely pics there Richard, Cotswolds are lovely. I was in Broadway few weeks back beautiful village.

Bet it's driving you potty running it on gently. Just wanna give it some lol.

Drove to work today in the Z.

Yesterday I cleaned the MAF the front mesh was black!

& WD 40'd most connectors I could get too!

I am amazed at the difference the Z run, smooth gear change, no rev changes!

Can cleaning the MAF make such a great difference? even the auto changes smoother??

Looking forward to going home:clap:

Yep make sure you keep all those connectors clean, Maf, Water to ECU temp sensor etc, they all make a difference to the running of the car.

Looking good Rich but your front number plate is not straight mate :detective::biggrin:

LOL - it must be the bumper then Gaz....

I have the UK mount fitted in the stock location - and the 'plate is dead square on the mount...

Richard:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I spent about an hour checking all my pipes, resetting the Profec B II to factory settings and going to try to work out what I need it at to get some boost as it feels like an NA at the moment.......

I did find a vacuum hard pipe without a pipe or blanking plug on it........... Now has bung fitted.....

Put battery on charge yet again, dies within a couple of days and appears to be one cell going down as jumps quickly and seems fine when engine started.... Could be the old alarm....

Getting ready for weekend at JAE........

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I have the same fixings.

It maybe down to the fixing spring strip behind the bumper softening/weakening.

Should be able to adjust it by hand but may drop back.

Should have gone to Spec Savers Gary......... Did you fit it on the road, could have been the camber..... lol
