  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Took mine out, no sunburn (as it just never happens to me) and drove home with the t-tops off! Great ending to a great day!

Ditto - apart from the T-tops that is.... Kept the roof panels firmly in place with the AC on all the way home!!

Great to catch up Si - must do it again sometime mate....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Absolutely Richard! When Julia and yourself are in the Westcountry again, you MUST visit. BTW, I am looking into doing Sparkford again in September.

Well yesterday actually, but pickedy my car up from PowerZed

Tax'd her today, tomorrow hopefully sort out the insurance :cool2:

They don't seem to ask for it anymore, when I renewed in spring I asked her if she wanted the documents and she said no no it's fine...I assumed she checked electronically but maybe they just don't consider it anymore as the system would red flag it pretty quick anyway.

Howard did you not need insurance to tax your car?

No, didn't think about it to be honest, just did it online.

Just looked on line, it only states that you have to have insurance, it seems they don't check that you do have it.

Ime sure they have access to central database mate...i think my missus tried to tax my truck earlier this year and it spat it back i believe as insurance had expired.Ile ask her later as i own 6 cars and trucks atm and just leave everything to her:confused1:

My scenic was taxed with just the logbook, it wasnt insured, apparently its all you need now in the post office

Insurance sorted out now. Went with Classicline in the end. The guy I spoke with, Oliver was very helpful and knew his cars and mods, which makes a change.

Just need the mapping sorted and were off :hyper:

Decided to get my car MOTed early so that I could ensure it was OK and I hadn't got another lemon. Needed to replace both front tyres because of some weird damage to the inside walls but otherwise all good. Now have 12 months MOT and peace of mind the car is as good as I thought it was :gunsmilie:

Did the inside look something like these tyres??

Yes it did but not all the way round, hence why I missed it when I did a cursory check on the depth of thread.

Great news! Going far?

Lol, nice one Andrew

Replaced the viscous coupling on the fan last night as the other one was playing up.

Drilled and taped the front wings, were the studs locate on to the front bumper.
