  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Every time you dispair with Trump, cast your mind back to that photo of Bush with the binoculars backwards. Or his address of the United States of England land or whatever he called us.

What are your plans for it? To make it a clean car and have the black one as the power machine?

Yes spot on,keeping it completely original, just refresh some of the interior trim, exterior trim and a little paint that's faded over the years, but the body is fantastic condition. Just want it done so we can drive it this year, not like my black beast that's spent most of its life in garages being modded and messed with lol

Great. Your missing the impul front bumper but I'm not sure if you're that bothered. I have a feeling I know who has it ;)

To be honest I'm don't that bothered,I've always been a lover of the original spoilers,I just think nissan got the style right,I've got a stillen lip added to my black zed but it compliments the look in my opinion.

Alright no problem. Not likely he would give it up anyway [emoji14]

Can't wait to see it

Hopefully getting the Zed back in 7 days time from a gearbox repair with all fresh new bearings! No more dreaded whine :)

Well come to a cross roads with the silver zed, I'm now convinced the engine is gone ( rings) fitted new pcv system, then tried the one way value trick. Still smokes after boost, but now it's for a few seconds instead of a puff. Really disappointed after all the work it's out for another year..

Just got to decide if it's worth parting with the na to fund a trip to jimmer...

That's a shit. Have you done compression/leak down?

Did recently and compression and leak down were fine, ( maybe too good particularly leak down was better then some newer cars we've tested)

But it's had new turbos, new valve stem seal, new pcv system, so doesn't leave alot, just wish I'd aleast made one 1/4 mile run in her...

Will have a long think maybe I'll have a go myself,

Well, I found an injector today and spent the day tearing chunks out of my beautiful plenum so I could get the old injector out.. Broke my heart to take a drill to that again!

However, new injector fitted and she's alive and kicking on all six again.

Went to start her up after fitting the injector to find a flat battery grrr!!!

After half hour on the Ctek charger, she roared back in to life a little lumpy at first but after she settled down, she is purring again.. That blue flame note humming away nicely.

Thankfully, my wife and I have somehow managed to get past our problems and I'm pleased to say the flames have reignited.. So I'm afraid you're all going to have to put up with me a little longer now..

Thanks for the kind messages, it meant a lot more than you know.

Think I'm gonna take the old girl out for a run tonight..

Feeling kinda blessed.. I managed to get my two favourite ladies back this week.

Maybe a cracked oil ring. Is it actually using oil? Is it not worth having Jim look at it and officially writing it off before you get too excited. If it's got good compression that's a good thing, potentially.

That is great news Paul.

He's only just put out the fire Pete, I suspect she's the queen of sheeba at present. wouldn't dare call her an old girl.

Great news Paul, remember you have to show the pair of them equal love and attention to get the best out of them

Finally wired in the smoked led fogs Andy did for me ages ago. Nicely lit up at the front now. Off to a car meet tomorrow if the weather's OK, havnt used her for 2months so looking forward to it.

Pmsl... That'd be a little foolish right now I agree.. The queen of sheba can turn to medusa relatively quickly..

She does have a sense of humour though and yo be fair she's older than me too so I kinda could get away with it lol

We all know the z gets more though right?
