Definitely a bargain, I purchased a new one from Mike and whilst it wasn't as expensive as CZP, it was more than double what you paid. From memory it was around £90 with all the clips.

Thats not to bad JP :yes: My under bonnet insulation is really not that bad but to keep up with you OEM guys it was something I just had to "Buy Now" :biggrin:

This morning I'm setting off in the Z to Beaconsfield squash club.

Well supposed to be on a trackday today, spent all week repairing and preparing the car, just fixed yesterday then got an email it's cancelled due to snow... Not impressed

 

 

So took the silver one out with the camera on, I'm definitely getting a puff of smoke when I lift off, ordered new pcv valves and hoses, but given I've replaced the valve stem seals twice recently, and the turbos are new, I'm thinking it's a guide. Oh well best source a pair of heads for rebuilding...

If that's Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, then it's not dry!! I'm about 19 minutes from there and this morning I have seen light rain, sleet, great big snowflakes; and now just rain....:sad:

Its no loss really.

You can never get tyres upto temperature even on a dry track when the air/track temp is in single figures.

Thanks coopd.. Anyone that knows me and my car will know I never wanted to part with it but as much as it will break my heart to let it go, I really don't have much choice at the minute.

 

I have debts to pay and I can't even see a way forward without the debt, let alone with them.

If I could live in the car, I'd keep it but unfortunately, we all know I'm not a small guy and the z ain't exactly built for space!

 

I have to be realistic about it and the truth is that I haven't got enough money to run and upkeep this car at the best of times, let alone when I have nowhere to live.

I was particularly looking forward to this year with the club aswell but unless a miracle occurs I'm in no position to keep the car and I'd rather see it being loved and cared for by someone else than watch it deteriorate and become a donor.

 

I can't let it go for silly money, but obviously the first refusal will go to club members as I'd rather it stayed in the club.

I'll be certain as to what is going to happen within the next month but at this time, I'm gutted to say that it looks like she'll be going.

I got paid today and decided it's time to start my project.

Might have got a bit happy with The Z Centre [emoji15]

At least I won't have to drop the gearbox after hopefully. And my double din stereo fascia.

Won't have enough to drop the gearbox? How are you going to get the clutch and bearing in? Haha

Future proofing dude.

Project is starting with the clutch. Going to be an expensive year for me. Brakes and brake lines next month.

Ah Paul, so sorry to hear this mate, I knew you'd been quiet on both here and Facebook of late but didn't realise it was due to family hardship, take care buddy, it will get better.
