Yes richie got bonnet stay,power stering pot,rad cover,plenum,water pipes,slam pannel,bonnet lock mechanism set

The car now going to be black with red hoses and polished work so finished this of got too put it away for now

At long last my wheels landed this week, didn't realise I needed to buy a different size valve so im now waiting for those before i can chuck some rubber on.

 

Picked my baby up from powerzed last night after having new plugs, general health check (lots of boost leaks fixed) and a one piece prop to replace my knackered old two piece. The difference is incredible, I'm so happy with it! Everything is so much smoother now.

 

But it looks like my turbos need doing as they're smoking badly, so that's next on the list now!

Just ebay... Wasn't expensive. Think it was about £8. Looks so clean now!

I already had the windscreen pieces off after it had been painted so those were off. The Targa and small bits were done on the car. It took me less than an hour and I've never wrapped anything before.

Did you do anything to the silver spots before wrapping? Did the wrap like dent into the hole?

Nope... Just covered it... Its good tbh!

Its quite thick wrap though

It's worth pointing out the carbon fibre effect stuff is thick as its textured, makes it pretty durable and easy to apply. The normal non textured stuff is waffer thin and pain in the ass.

Bit more done after doing a night shift

Just had a full wheel alignment done, it's made a huge difference. No more pulling to the left.

Mine will be getting done next week after Lee's replaced all my Hicas bits :thumbup1:

I wanted to wait until all the suspension work was done but it hasn't been great to drive the last 6months. Time for the new tyres now.

Yesterday I managed to get another hour on the car.

Handbrake properly adjusted (although may need to do again).

Exhaust refitted - a bloody difficult task singlehanded and on your back underneath the car!

I was going to refit my Fujitsubo exhaust instead of the stainless steel one as it is a much better fit and look. But the corrosion around some of the welds is just too far gone. Pretty sure it's good for nothing but scrap now.

 

Should get a few hours tomorrow morning to get the rear wheels back on, drop the rear and then strip the front calipers off. Might even get chance to strip them down whilst at home. Although not having access to a compressor is a pain in the backside.

All clean and shiny, ready to head to Shrewsbury early tomorrow morning! :biggrin:
