Where is the best place to get a decent clutch from?

 

Finally about to put in the manual conversion and can't afford the £1600 for one from japspeed.

 

I have seen this one on Ebay but i don't know if it is right or not

won't be doing trackdays just the occasional trip down the strip at Santa pod

jeff does some good ones I believe, I purchased a competition clutch ive not even done a 1000 miles on it yet though so cannot comment, so far so good lets put it that way. There was a thread not long ago where it was highlighted about a certain brand off ebay that was a remanufactured item and wasn't very good quality. I think you read it the other day aswel that exedy have stopped producing all clutches for the z32 apart from the mega expensive one, that doesn't fill me with faith. a lot of guys use the rps street max unit.

Yep Jeff does clutches mate and the RPS i've had all their different versions at one time or another an dliked them all.

Shipping shouldn't be that bad though, never was for me.

Exedy clutch for Nissan s13 & s14 are really crap, so think twice before You buy one for ZX ;)

Yes mate :-) and should you ever need a replacement disc, they are available for reasonable money and cheap to post from the US

I'm in the same position mate I'm not paying silly money for that purple clutch sandwich. 111Martin111 recommended the f1 Ebay clutches but I found a thread saying paddle clutches bite far too hard. There are a lot of powerful cars on here I'm Gona listen to a few more opinions but liked the look of the f1 clutch.
