If they don't ask for mileage then don't tell em.

They didn't ask for mine when that nice lady reversed into mine recently.

Keep it zipped is my advice!

Does covering extra miles mean you are not covered legally ?

Options:

Fit a secondhand speedo

Lie

take your speedo out and knock a couple of thou off. When I converted from Kph to Mph with the converter I changed the odometer to miles, its not hard to do.

Check the small print of your policy. Some limited mileage policies (my own included) simply increase the excess if you exceed the mileage.

Dont tell them!!

If its only minor they wont come and look at it anyway.
