I haven't used my Z since I got back from Cornwall in early January; I cleaned it and put it back in the garage where it has sat for the last 4 weeks.....

 

....So as it was nice and sunny today, I decided to take the Z out early this morning for the Sainsbury's run. But I didn't just stop there; I then drove from Beaconsfield to High Wycombe to buy the Halfords vouchers for the F1 comp prizes - and as I realised just how much I had missed driving the Z, I headed further afield for the sheer hell of it. And by the time I got home, almost 100 miles had passed under the wheels since I had left earlier!! Gotta love the 300zx......

 

It's not the first time I have done that either - LOL - and I hope the weather is fine tomorrow; as I feel a day out in the Z to The Cotswolds is beckoning....

Strange how you put this thread up and I for the first time took my zed out of the garage to see sunlight as it has been parked there since September!! Washed all the dust of it and noticed the petrol light was on so took it 500yds down the road to the petrol station and fell in love all over again. I so miss the power and the feel of driving something that puts a smile on your face:thumbup:

I'm so jealous Richard. I am going to have to wait until May the first to experience the same buzz.

Thinking of taxing and insuring mine for 12 months next time. This 6 months sorn malarkey Is blxxdy murder!

lol, i use my zed as a daily so usually the longest i go is the weekend before i'm back out.

 

Unless shes off get some major work done.

That's why I keep the ZX taxed and insured for the whole year...... I cannot resist having it sitting in the garage but not being able to drive it for 6 months!!

Rich, what you need to do if you are going to use the Zed for the shopping run is pick a Sainsburys that is 200 miles away so then you have the perfect excuse :lol::lol:
