It depends on how much you can get it for I suppose mate

I've got a few Clarke and Sealey tool chests and drawer units in my van and the quality is alright for ocassional use but they're certainly nowhere near the quality of Snap On. If you can pick up a second hand Snap On chest off ebay for the same price in all honesty I'd take that over the cheaper option everytime

NO, id love one of them but my man cave is full..:(

Go for a sh1t then

I've got a 6 foot fileing cabinet and I think its great

At the end of the day if you can tell that it's quality kit then you can't really go wrong mate

I've got a secondhand Snap On chest in my garage and the quality is top drawer (excuse the pun) whilst the others vary quite a bit quality wise, even the same branded kit differs somewhat with some parts made of very soft metal.

but as I said if the quality of that one is good then go for it bud

somehow I managed to convince myself I needed the black and gold top box of this range lol.

so if u got some .. what u think of them ?

If you don't need to wheel it around get a few fileing cabinets. Can hold a dam site more it it than them

yeah its good quality, I had the non nearing drawers before and when your putting heavy stuff in them they fail quick, so these ones with the roller drawers are much better. my mates got some bloody expensive snap'on one its expensive lol.

but yeah i need it to be on wheels Kinda need the surface space

To answer your question literally.....

.....yes, it is wrong to be in love with a tool chest - well it is in most parts of the country, maybe it's different in Derbyshire.....:winkiss:

But as to whether you should buy it, it looks a quality piece of kit; and if you can get it for a bargain price then go for it!! Just take care which tool you stick in it mate.....

Good call mate..... I'd phone them again in a couple of days to see if they have sold it yet - and if not, offer them £375 cash.....

My box cost 4k 5 years ago which sounds mental from Snap on but its lasted really well and the quality is excellent.I agree totally its better to have a second hand Snap on than a new other make of box.At least with Snap on the draw runners locks etc can be bought if they fail.

Ive bought some great stuff from Costco always worth a look if you have or know anyone with a card
