Easy guys,

started my car earlier today, smelt a bit of fuel inside the cab, I thought I inspect it and discovered a tiny leak, just wondering whats the best way of sorting it out is? the metal line seems fine, and rubber seems ok and doesn't look deteriorated and clamp is tight too yet the fuel was dripping.

I didn't wedge the throttle open, I'll try it if I notice it leaking, at the minute it seems ok

for them pipe clips that are fully closed around the pipe..a fast fix is to get the engine bay hot ,undo the clips and move them along the pipe 3-5mm to a fresh piece of pipe and re-tighten onto hot soft pipe...99.9% does the trick.

Sounds like a good trick Brian, now lets hope the screwdriver will reach there, as Vodkashots mentioned about jamming the throttle open might create some room.

I would love to see the Z32's manufacturing process like that discovery show "How Its Made"... shocking how they managed to cramp so much in so little space, but I'm sure there is worse out there

It might look all crammed in, but i give them one thing, they made everything pretty much easy to reach, there are only a few area's of struggle in that engine bay, other wise everthing is pretty much where you can get to it.

Well there has been sorta new development, started the car up and had a look and the injector rail line DOES appear to be leaking :( couldn't get the best view but here's the diagram to give you guys an idea

Point-1 appears clearly wet, hose looks wet too, now confusing part is Point-2, I am not 100% sure but I think I may saw a drip from Point-2 but not sure, it could be that fuel from Point-1 travelled to the end of Point-2 and dripped.

Point 2 might drip due to point one, id eliminate point 1 as point 2 would need a new injector rail if that area is leaking (highly unlikely though)

Ah I see your point. So, I think the point is that if point 2 is pointing towards a fault at point 1, then there's no point in pointing the finger at point 2 when the whole point is that point 1 is leaking... You see my point?

thats very disa-pointing
