what do you know of that was offered as a are factory optional extra, or what gems has your zed got on it, im becoming more interested by the day by keeping the car stock clean and period. taht doesnt mean im going to rip off my 18s and put the stock wheels back on(well not just yet) but little gems were out there at the time of production.

i found out today that my one had altea illuminated rear pannel fited :)

 

 

there was a blue zed down by pizza hut for a while with them, i dunno what happened to the car was a bit of a shit box. lwb though im afraid me old fruit.

LWB only as far as i know, SWB would be SUPER SUPER DUPER rare but ive never seen them let alone heard of them for a shorty

I've got that over carpet in the boot, always wondered why I had 2, the top one has the 300zx logo on it...

I have the japenese extras catalogue mine says it has light up green rear panel ,mats,and yellow pearl eh7 paint ,prices in yen im sure i worked out paint alone was 1k .

Looks like you would need to get some standard ones etched or screen printed or something - maybe an adhesive printed film attached to the inner surface would be easier..... then fit a narrow EL panel or EL tape behind that. Then over the top some of that window tinting plastic film stuff to seal it all in and tint the window??

 

Sounds like a fun project.. I may have a go unless someone else already does these

Just looked in the book i have its listed as nissan sports z option parts .theres a pic of cd player /them rear quater blinds/spats/a ski roof rack/matts/rear light up panel/and a rear 300zx logo across the top of the rear window set into tint film about 6 inches deep/also front parking mast on front bumper.

I have the heated seats - but I thought they'd be more common among series 2 UK-spec cars with leather.......!

 

I'd say the OEM HID lights would be a cool factory fitted option to have.... Hell, the whole genuine 99-spec twin turbo (like Roobarb's) is a rare beasty I'd like to have!!

There was the adjustable suspension and heated wing mirrors, don't think they were on the UKDM options but they were elsewhere.

 

My JDM shorty has the cd multi changer controls under the armrest but where was the cd multi player located as standard?
