Under very hard braking my z violently shakes. I have read worn tension rod bushes can cause this!? Can someone post a diagram to show location? Also, I read to spot a bad bush there is normally liquid coming from them, is this true?

Thanks, Dan

No liquid should not come out, the liquid is more like grease, have a quick look underneath the bushes are about 45 each new. I have a spare set some where I could sell you if you require.

Sorry I cannot even insert a picture from my pc now? what happened to manage attachments Im I going blind? lol. but they are just under the anti roll bar, one at either side bolting onto the part that the water radiator sits on IIRC.

Hi when mine went I noticed by jacking car up, hold front wheel at 9o'clock and 3o'clock position and try moving the wheel back or forwards if moves there fooked lol.

or look at the bush for bad cracks or white horrible stuff dripping.

have no pics of bush, but it is a bar with 2 bolts bolting it to a lower arm, with a big round bush the other end with a bolt going right through it.

Goodluck and hope u get it sorted.

This shows how to replace the rods:

The OEM replacement is only available as a complete unit. You can get the bushes on their own (Nismo for example) which

need to be pressed in or go with aftermarket tension rods (usually adjustable) from many suppliers.

Thanks guys, I do not have an air gun so prob will not attempt this myself, is there any other bushes that can cause these symptoms? Or any others you recommend replacing for polys also?

Thanks, Dan
