aye but we are not paying $600-$800 a month to be able to go the doctors:wink:

There are a LOT of Z's with over 200k, nothing unusual there in the U.S

Last time I seen there were a lot over 250k and there was even one over 300k and rumours of one over 400k !

edit: In fact that thread z32bolt linked is the one I was thinking of.

Surely there must be some over here that are approaching that kind of milage. Mine is sitting around the 150k mark with very little of that done in the last 8 years.

probally not far off richard, most jap cars are probally running double the miles they're stated as. probally loads running over 150k miles without even knowing it.

Exactly mate, hence some of the tales of woe we read about on here!! The VG30 engine is probably pretty tough really - it's a Nissan after all - so I have a theory that many of the catastrophic failures that get mentioned on the forums are down to the fact the the cars in question have really covered a galactic mileage; hence it was only a matter of time before things went wrong.....

well even when you do get a jap car with jap service manual, you cant bloody read the damn thing anyway (well unless you can lol) so your not sure whats been done and when.

No car in the world on the used market has 100% guaranteed mileage even with full history. Just not something anyone can prove!

im not fussed about mileage, ive seen Volvo's with more miles than nasa's space shuttle has clocked up, its all down to decent maintenance
