H I D lights jap import

hi guys

yes you guessed it more problems for love no money can I get the lights connected to the exsisting lights seems like a different plug mine is rectangular and the hid one is oval anybody encounted this before

Also the loom for the front light shares to high beam how do you get round this cut plug on main light only?

The correct HID kit should look like the one below, the oval plugs are for internal connections the smaller spades on the blue and black cables are fitted into your rectangle connecter.

 

The main beam is a seperate connection so do not worry about that.

cut the oval part of the hids and connect some spades these will slide into the square connetor block on the stock light loom.

How about some pics of the ones you've got, at least compare them to Jeff's pics........

Cut the plug off and put a spade crimp on the red and black once youve stripped the sheath back.

are you saying that this kit is the wrong one and not suitable groover?

 

it`s the wrong one the kit you have is h4-3 bi-xenon

ok thanks that makes perfect sense was from flee bay cheap got it when it just ended will fit it to another car landrover me thinks

First you'll need to find out if the Landrover you have uses a H4-3.

 

Every car uses a certain fitment, There are about a dozen different fitments.

 

For the Z you need a H3 kit.
