I love this forum. Best I been on imo. I been on STOC, RSOC, MR2OC, Twobrutal, GTOOC, 200sxOC, R32OC, FTOOC and a few others - this is by far the best, and refferring back to Mikeys comments, I havent seen any evidence of "power trips" I have seen it on many forums in the past, most if not all mod comments I have seen have been throughly justified. However, I dont know whats been said in PMs and that makes it none of my business :P

 

so all I can say is thumbs up to all, from Richard the Secretary and all the mods, to the traders, subbed members and reg'd users. The activity, help, advice and banter is also a key factor in what makes the forum great. I have asked what I feel are stupid questions in the past, and have been given serious, helpful answers, without any sly remarks. (well had a couple but they were light banter, and rather funny)

 

I wouldn of subbed if I didnt like the place. However only thing I'd like is a chat box for subbed members to have light banter in.

you know why though? its because its cheaper than driving my Zed lol.

I can see an experiment coming on....

 

Maybe it'd be worth keeping a log over the next 12 months. First start by making a note of the zeds current mileage and then over the next year exactly, work out (1) how many miles an average UK zed covers in exactly 1 year (2) how much fuel it drinks and (3) how much it costs in 'essential' and 'non essential' parts to keep it on the road and (4) how many days of the year the zed actually spends on the road (ie. not parked up on the driveway or on axle stands)

Put in £130 fuel

 

bought Exhaust for £90 delivered

bought PAS Pipe £46 delivered

£40 Fitting

Alloys around £100 delivered inc decent tyres

Polishes about £120 :s but that will last more than a year (I hope)

 

Things to do - nothing needs doing for the car, however I have the urge to do them anyway if that makes sense!

Yep, that's why I think it would be necessary to keep a log of 'non essential' expenses aswell, because the problem with zeds is that you always seem to be spending on something...even if you don't actually need to

Bought mine last september and done about 7000 miles,and used it pretty much every day :)

Hey - I actually got NAMED in the praise!!! That's never happened before...... Cheers Ryan; but I cannot take credit that is also due to ALL my colleagues on the committee. The mods indeed do a superb job too - but then you said that already........:biggrin:

Ive always said this is by for the best forum, :thumbup:

 

Everyone is really friendly and can give some very good advice on any subject, and also to be honest without this forum my zed wouldnt be on the road without your help,

So a massive thank you to everyone on the forum keep up the good fun and banter and all the helpul advice

This is without a doubt the best car forum on the web. If it wasn't for the information and help I've got from here I would never have been able to rebuild my zed.

 

I also don't think that the mods are power crazy, I may only have been a mod for a little while but I've been a member for ages, I've seen nothing that made me think the mods are power hungry. If a person gets a ban it is there own fault for breaking the AUP etc, they are always given a chance to redeem themselves as a ban is the last resort and we do not issue them lightly. The Moderation on this site has helped to keep the forum a pleasant and friendly place where you can have banter, ask questions etc without being flamed.

people only hate the mods cause they only want to cause trouble, i say "you act like a cnut you get treat like a cnut"

im power hungry, its the only satisfaction i get these days being able to lord it above the rest of yous lol, its also the best forum ive been on, not only for 300zx's but also for the banter, made some great forum friends on here and im sure there will be more to come

Good quality meets are the answer to put faces to names and face to face interaction:yes: none of this keyboard stuff. Just need a bridge over the Irisn Sea for me lol but the rest of you lot have no excuse's but I will be there for JAE :pint: so get your 300's down to it some of the best zeds will be there from swb to lwb to verts and Zclubs cars also:thumbup:
