keep me going for a year or so, only paid £475 for it at the sales it needs a clutch (still works but high) and the fan blower doesnt work, but taxed till end of sep and motd till end of month, loads of scratches on it aswell, most will buff out, been someones second car, dont think it had ever been washed lol

anyway its a focus 1.6 zetec comfort, leccy windows, air con, but the shocker is its really nice to drive, apart from the clutch it feels solid and comfortble, wouldnt mind an RS if they drive like this

Ive had it up om ramps, doesnt seem to be amy major probs, but will see what yhe tester says, got it booked in next weekend

Bloody good cars, they handle really well, we hired one once and battered it everywhere, quite nippy too ,bargain ;)

Sweet ride Stells, you going to pimp that bad boy up..??

Haven't driven a focus myself but heard nothing but good things on how they handle, supposed to be much better than the astra for it.

My Mrs got an ST 170, had to tell her not to even try driving the zed like she does her car, she now understands it might be not quite as forgiving as her focus ! Lol

will easy get your money back on that little gem next year Allan...

cheers guys, its staying as standard, gonna sort the clutch and a few other little niggly things and just enjoy a car that doesnt cost the earth to run or maintain (till i get a zed anyway lol)

cheers guys, i must say i love driving this thing, its wierd but its so nice and easy to drive, its relaxed lol and the best thing is ive been driving it for 2 weeks now and i still havent had to put petrol in it, booked in for mot next week, supposed to be today but they double booked so going next sat, fingers crossed

Looks like a real bargain there Allan - plus it's good for Shell and little Charlie to mate!

I've never diven a Focus myself, but they are supposed to be a pretty good drive - especially for a compact family car - so I can certainly understand why the RS versions are highly thought of.

I hope it serves you well mate,

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

my inlaws have one which i borrow occasionally, really nice little cars esp with the heated front screen. well built feel solid even with high miles. my only critisim is the gera knob in theres feels horrid everytime you change simply because of the shape of it.

i tend not to leave my hand on knobs for too long so its ok, but i do know what ya mean, it has no shape to it, just like a potato on the top lol
