there is two different types, but the connections are the same. it was just the material they were made from and the fact the alloy ones came with "fins" on them where as the cast iron ones didnt.

I was just looking at these the other day :) did you get them to fit in the end?

The lines don't run from the hard line to the caliper, they keep a short run of rubber that goes onto the caliper so still a weak point in the system!

Assuming we are talking about stock brakes and lines, then both front and rear calipers have short hard lines between the caliper

and the flexible line. The connections of the flexible lines being female and therefore a replacement flexible line also having female

connections.

Sry mate but it's an old thread. But them pics are completely different from what I got n really they were sold as from the caliper up as all brake lines are the fact I had to spend extra to make them fit determins they were a lie

Sory pal just retread that I'm coming across as a d£;k theyr. My calipers n lines were reworked with different lines but they were sold as a replacement from caliper to lines(coming throught the arch gromit ) but they did make a hella difference when finaly fitted straight to the caliper
