Beaulieu National Motor Museum are holding their first Simply Japanese Event on Sunday 5th August - 'SIMPLY JAPANESE'.

 

Any Japanese model is welcome to attend - Clubs and individuals are welcome.

 

Gates open at 9.30am.

 

Ticket Prices: (Must arrive in a Japanese Vehicle)

 

Adults - £10

Child - £5

 

There will be a People’s Choice award for the best in show.

Put me down to, its only a £10 to get in ill ignor the £90 in fuel! :lol:

i may pop down to this not 100% sure at the mo as i would need to leave around 6AM currently though i'm, not working the saturday night

I need to try and swing the day off if I can... so not 100% either. ellodave do you fancy a drive down if i'm going?

I'm probably going to see my mate in basingstoke on the saturday then go from there but im not sure. If not then yeah we can drive down in a 2 car convoy :)

whats the current arrangements then times etc/ i did notice about meeting up in hythe but that would make the trip twice as long for me lol.

hythe only a few mins drive from the tescos in applemore come down the m27 then m271 cant go wrong im coming from andover if my cars fixed in time

Id forgotten hythe was my side of the test so thats fine. Ive walked home from.there before so its not that far lol

oh yes injector in and runs sweet,, im back on track for next sunday just need the sun and it will be a cracking day

i phoned beaulieu and checked what entrance we should go to as they have a few ,,so main entrance and we will be directed

im still happy to meet at tescos at applemore,im going to be there about 8 to 8 30 ish

Bad news for me, the wife has gone and got a cancellation booking for my daughters christening on the same day so I'm not gonna make it.

I could be up for this if the sun is out..yes that rare ball of orangieness that sometimes appears! Have to get the Z out for run at some point!... the last two years my limited mileage of 4000 pa has been farcicaly high!!! Though I hvae at leat postponed selling a kidney to fuel the thing. Be good to see some Z's and Z people.

im gonna have to drop out sadly, my car is ****ed. it would get there but id be sat there smoking and rattling and juddering looking like a ****.

that is a shame ,just changed 2 injectors in a week so im up and running again but for how long

i can't follow whats going on, so, where are we meeting and what time?

Sadly I'm pulling out of this as well......

 

......despite my ZX proving ever reliable thus far, it has (unfortunately) decided that it needs a new waterpump and is dropping coolant. Lots of coolant!! I have it (re)booked in at Jeff's this Wednesday and don't want to risk using it before then as I'd prefer to make the 100 mile trip to Zedworld without the need for the RAC's intervention!!

 

I suppose I could come down in the Merc, but as it's not Japanese I'd feel out of place....
