im sure there was one around here somewhere but i cant seem to find it any more, im going to get started on by putting the dreaded clutch pedal and brake pedal in, but before i got destroying the inside of my car, i need to know how easy it is to get that metal plate off the fire wall. thats all im interested in, so anyone who has done the manual conversion and had to remove that plate (you know what im on about if you have done it) how did you go about it?

Any tips on installation of the clutch pedal pulling my hair out here.

Take the 2 plastic tubes out that go under the steering rack, that should give you enough room to get it up, you need to move that cable out of the way at the top as well, shame you are not closer would of come and done it for you.

ok the top of the peddle frame work there is a small lip ... cut it off ... it helps to get it passed the wires right at the top

i never did that on mine lol, i just released the cable at the top then moved it out of the way it then slotted home nicely.

re: the starter relay department. im understanding that i pop the wheel well liner off the drivers side and the relay is there, the two wire of the correct colours are simply cut out and spliced together shorting out the relay? and enabling you to start the car in any gear you wish.

its all worth it, with the wires you mentioned, i left the connector in place and just bridged it with some wire, then used some Araldite to glue it in place. but essentially that and the reverse lights, thats pretty much it for the that, part from the pin 44 thing on the relay, that i haven't got around to doing yet.
