took the zed out just to drop my sons friend and take my son back to his ma's only a ten minute run , but just to put a smile on his face , well got to a roundabout and the car cut out , would not re start , alarm was going off and cars were stacking up behind me ...3 guys in a van behind pushed me off the roundabout and down a small side road , big thanks to them , unfortunately there was me trying to steer through teh open door , and the car , picked up speed as it was down hill slightly i had to jump in the car with it moving but to late and teh front off side wheel hit the curb,,,taking a nice 6 inch gauge out of 1600 pounds worth of image split rim grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..:no:..called the AA and the nice man in teh yellow van found teh positive post connection of teh battery was so loose he could just lift it off and pop it on with his fingers ...not even push tight..the connector was too big for the battery post and instead of a new connector someone had just screwed a 6 mm screw betwen teh batery terminal and teh clamp to take the slack in !!! obvioulsy when the car has been driven the screw has come slack and dissconected the battery...so one 6mm screw has cost me what it will be to refurb teh front alloy plus a 45 minutes in the cold wait for teh AA .....i am not happy:no::no:
