been out on the drive thinking what i can do next to my zed,,,was thinking of covering all the plastic trim in the boot in black fabric//material not sure whats best to use anyone ever gone down this road before

If it was me and depending on £££ I would start renewing all the bushes and making the cars ride feel as new. for a better tighter ride imo :biggrin:

all been done Dave my car was restored in 2002 drives like new even better with the one piece prop

Leather'et Vinyl is what u need it should come out nice but take your time in doing it and use the right glue

i was thinking more of a fabric like what they cover bass boxes in in black i used vinyl and redone my blue zed, but found you only had to catch somthing small on it and it was damaged not sure it would be good in the boot what glue would you use ,,i used an M3 spray the last time then superglue around the edges and folded it over worked well with no lifting

yeah was my thinking but not sure how to go about it ,i like to do it myself so i can say i did this when i take it to car shows

sweet. well in that case i would start work in the engine bay if your going for a show car. I doubt the public would notice if you covered a bit of plastic with fabric.

Dave you are a boy racer lol ive been down that route want to keep this one as standerd as poss engine and body wise

no ive grown out of that lol!! nothing wrong with detailing in the engine and making it look tidy :)

i stand corrected you're a poser like me lol

 

oh aye. cannot wait to show it off. everything is modded and can go fast as feck but only really do 45/50mph and just et eveyone look at it :lol::lol:
