Engine coolant drain plug??

Heard the engine has a coolent drain plug somewhere I'm about to give my car a nice new fresh set of coolant and would like to empty the block so any help as soon as possible would be most appreciated

Sweet thanks for that Jaikai thought it might be that from looking at my knackered engine in the garage, she has nice fresh coolant and deminarlised water in her, also has had a good flush through so all the crap is out of her, god my car is strange I only did it as she started gaining higher temps at idle, she's been sat now idling for 30 mins and hasnt gone 1 degree over 81 now, amazing what a flush and new coolant can do :)

bolt was sealed with thread lock, but shifted eventually, i was lucky my A/C compressor wasn't there other wise it would of been a right pig to get to.

naa, should of been more specific, passenger side below the manifold was a bit hit and miss, could of undone the wrong bolt and had a engine mount loose or something :lol:

true, I should have said " Try all the nuts on that side, the drain plug will be the one that won't undo!" :lol:
